FREE SUMMER RAINFOREST FUN AT 17 & CENTRAL
Get ready for an exciting summer at 17 & Central in Walthamstow! We’re thrilled to announce six weeks of rainforest-themed craft activities, perfect for keeping the kids entertained during the school holidays.
Event Details:
- Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from 27 July to 1 September
- Time: 11am - 4pm
- Location: Centre Court at 17 & Central
- Cost: Free of charge
What’s Happening: Each week, children can immerse themselves in the vibrant world of the Amazon rainforest. Our activities will focus on different endangered animals, including the jaguar, poison dart frog, dwarf sloth, spider monkey, hyacinth macaw, and pink river dolphin. Set against a colourful Amazon backdrop, these crafts are both educational and fun!
Supporting a Good Cause: While the activities are free, we will be raising funds for our new charity partner, The Together Project. This national organisation connects generations through joyful community activities, and we are proud to support their mission.
Why Join Us: We aim to provide events that are both educational and entertaining. This year’s rainforest rescue theme is designed to raise awareness about endangered animals and how we can help protect them, all while ensuring the kids have a fantastic time.
Opening Day: Join us for the grand opening of 17 & Central’s Rainforest on Saturday, 27 July at 11am. Last year’s Six Flags Summer activity was a huge success, and we can’t wait to see even more children participating this year.
